We provide functional capacity assessments regarding psychosocial disabilities to determine goals and support essentials plus competency building.
Besides comprehensive assessments, our skilled, experienced clinicians supply reports for clients who may require NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) packages or 24/7 care.
Using sensory stimuli and body-based strategies, we can develop a sensory modulation plan that promotes emotional regulation, correct functioning and practical participation levels.
Our supportive OT interventions include environmental, cognitive, and assistive technology strategies to help our clients reach their goals.
By providing emotional assistance and psychoeducation, we teach family members and carers how to assist with occupational therapy, intervene functionally, and offer the support our clients need.

Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA)
Our go-to and “best seller” (we’re looking at you, NDIS). A functional capacity assessment is a review of a client’s functioning in the context of any mental health of psychosocial disabilities to identify what support they may need to work towards their goals and build capacity. We provide a comprehensive FCA report to be reviewed by the client, NDIS stakeholder team and the NDIA.

Ah, the elusive “sensory” word. Let us demystify it for you. We provide tailored assessments and sensory modulation plans to support emotional regulation, using sensory, stimuliand body-based strategies. Occupational Therapy Intervention Sessions
One of our favourites–the part where we dive in together and do the work! Work with our OTs, at a frequency of your choosing (e.g. fortnightly, monthly), to use cognitive, environmental,and assistive technology strategies to build your capacity and work towards your goals. Occupational Therapy sessions can include strategies around any of the following:-

Specialist Disability Housing
The bricks and mortar. We complete SDA assessment and reports for those clients who require specialist disability accommodation to support their goals. We work with clients who may have a severe and persistent mental illness or complex psychosocial disability which may mean they need robust housing or improved liveabilityfeatures. Beware, we don’t provide SDA reports forthe“fully accessible” or “high physical support” criteria because… staying in our mental health and psychosocial lane, remember?

Allied Health Assistant
Be Well Occupational Therapy offers a mobile Allied Health Assistant service to support clients to engage in occupational therapy and progress their goals. By providing essential support to occupational therapists, allied health assistants contribute to the overall effectiveness of occupational therapy interventions and help clients achieve their goals for improved independence, participation, and quality of life. Our Allied Health Assistant works under the supervision of an occupational therapist to ensure quality outcomes are achieved throughout the client’s journey.

If circumstances allow, you can consult with our occupational therapy services healthcare providers remotely – by telephone or video call.
We commenced easy-to-use and effective telehealthservices thanks to that pesky thing called Covid-19 and we have kept it around!We now provide ongoing support for clients who simply prefer telehealth, clients who are interstate and we have it as an option for clients that may find it difficult to leave the home due to their disabilities. We promise we don’t wear pyjamas on bottom..

NDIS Access: For clients seeking to access the NDIS and require supporting assessments to do so, we often provide a substantially discounted flatrate as a way of supporting our community and those clients who would otherwise “fall through the cracks” – reach out to us for specific enquires.
Cancellation Fees: We’re not sure why you’d cancel as we’re awesome, but if for some reason you are unable to make your appointment, sessions cancelled within less than 24 hours are charged 90% of the full rate. Unfortunately, cancellations impact both our clients who are on our wait list and the therapist who has prepared and got themselves excited for the session.
