Allied Health Assistant and Occupational Therapist discussing AHA made resource.

How does AHA work?

Our allied health assistant will go to the client’s home or out in the community with them and work with them to reach their goals. Our allied health assistant can support their client’s to reach goals that can vary from accessing the community, managing money, meal prep, shopping, home maintenance, routine establishment, public transport training or progressing employment/study goals.

On top of supporting clients face-to-face, our allied health assistant works collaboratively with our occupational therapists to do research and create resources that further support our clients to reach their goals.

By utilising our allied health assistant our clients are able to get more value out of their capacity building funding in a cost effective manner whilst maintaining continuity of care and working towards their OT goals.
