Medicare Mental Health
Occupational Therapy
BAMH! Just like that you can access our OT services through Medicare.
Through the Better Access to Mental Health (BAMH) scheme, our Medicare accredited OTs can now offer our services to adult clients beyond the NDIS!
BAMH is a General Practitioner referral pathway where occupational therapy sessions can be accessed through a Mental Health Care Plan. Participants are entitled to maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year with a Medicare rebate. This reduces road blocks to accessing better care for yourself or a loved one who is experiencing a mental illness or psychosocial disability.
Disclaimer: Please note OT session provided via Better Access to Mental Health (BAMH) and cannot be utilised to produce NDIS access reports or functional capacity reports. No bulk billing or work cover.
